DECK, HULL AND COCKPIT

Hull built as one-off on a male plug with SE84 Dry-Prepreg-Vacuum consolidated and cured at 80°-85° C.

The core material is a combination of varies Nomex honey comb material, CNX80, CNX72, CNX64 plus foam Corecell 130.

White hull with blue stripes, AWL-Grip.

Primary internal structure and small furniture panels are made on heated flat-panel table, with SE84 Dry-Prepreg-Vacuum consolidated and cured at 80°-85° C. Visible surfaces are teak faced.

Main chain plates in composite.

The cantilevered semi elliptical balanced spade rudder is moulded from carbon and filled with PVC foam. Foam filling under high pressure in special strengthened mould.

Rudder stock is made of high strength, carbon-Epoxy construction using “Vacuum press” manufacturing system.

Canting keel : Maximum canting keel angle 30° port and starboard. Keel fin from big strength computer milled corrosion resistant steel. Lead bulb. Canting keel with twin hydraulic cylinders.

Keel hydraulics : Mannesmann / Rexroth. Full hydraulic service in 2007 including all new hoses and new PLC controller.

Dagger board for up wind conditions.

Two carbon custom made wheels.

Opening transom and storage of the dinghy.

Deck built as one-off on a male plug with SE84 Dry-Prepreg-Vacuum consolidated and cured at 80°-85° C. Core material used is Nomex honey comb material CNX64 with Corecell 200.

Pulpit and pushpit of Titanium. Stanchions, handrail of the main companion way, legs of the cockpit table, roller fair-leads are in Titanium.

Forward and after spray-hoods are recessed in deck.

Teak deck on side deck, cockpit floors and seats and on combings. The teak is Epoxy glued to the fibre deck using vacuum bagging technique. No screw and plugs used except for the centrepieces and the outboard parts.

Fixed windows and cabin trunk are made of tempered glass.

Sliding hatches : companion way hatches are custom made Perspex with lock and washboards. Storage space for washboards.

Cockpit table for centre cockpit (carbon / Nomex / teak top plus Titanium legs).
